Our good pal Neighbour has blessed us with a solid EP of boogie-breaks and house featuring his signature wonky bass-line style and some dope vocalists. "Drunk on the Funk" is the title song of this EP and it's pure dance-floor magic. It's one of those tunes that rock every time it's played regardless of the venue and MC Think Tank drops some simple lines over the roller-disco type groove. It's those funky ass keyboards and the poppin' bass that makes this song rock with some serious stamina. On the Flip we give you "Back and Forth", an altogether deeper affair but Neighbour injects some new style type rap vocals over some smooth keys and soul vocal chants that keep the whole thing chugging along. When the Virus type bass comes in at the three minute mark you know you're in for an interesting ride. For the final track we drop "Kolour Jam", a jazzy house type track that is jackin' while still holding some depth. In just 3 tracks you get a little something for every type of situation, like an insurance plan on vinyl.
